About Us

Through the development of Uniontown Rolling Hills, our goal is to create a new and vibrant neighborhood within a community that we already cherish. Each one of us has a deep commitment to preserve the history and charm of Uniontown while offering the chance for new neighbors to benefit from all that it has to offer.

Dale and Leslee Miller first were attracted to Uniontown in the 1980's after selling their design and planning business in Seattle. Today, more than 18 years later, Dale and Leslee live a fast paced life ...Uniontown style! Leslee spends her days managing their Alpaca ranch while Dale serves as the Housing Program Manger for the Community Action Center in Pullman. In addition, both run the Bed & Breakfast on their ranch and are very active in Uniontown's acclaimed Artisan Barn.

Rick Whetzel became enamored with Uniontown after stumbling across the small town during a visit to see one of his children who was attending Washington State University in Pullman. Rick liked Uniontown so much that he purchased property in town and has been investing in improving those properties and the community ever since. Rick owns and manages an electrical contracting firm in Seattle.

Tim Mortimore and Nick Van Arsdel's interest in quality construction and design led them to starting their construction company in the palouse, Carlton Builders.   Tim has over 10 years of experience in construction and a construction management degree from Washington State University.  Nick has over 7 years of experience in construction and a certificate in sustainable design from Boston Architectural College.  Their preference is to participate in the construction of green and healthy buildings.  You can see more information about Carlton Builders on their web site at www.carlton-builders.com

When Craig Beaumont and his wife decided they wanted to live in the palouse, Craig set up  Palouse Design Associates.   Craig is a LEED certified architect with over 30 years experience in the design of residential and commercial sites and structures.   You can find more information about Palouse Design Associates on their web site at www.palousedesignassociates.com

Melinda Dutton  with her husband chose to become residents of the palouse in 1979.  In 1997 Melinda decided to get involved in helping people find the home they need.  Melinda has lived in the Colton/Uniontown area and in Pullman.  She is able to help people find or build a house that is a good fit for their needs and dreams.  Jeanne Fulfs Meisel was raised in the Palouse and she likes to help people find the place that will become their home. Go to REMAX Home and Land at www.pullmanhomeandland.com for more information about Melinda, Jeanne, and the lots for sale.

Dale, Leslee, and Rick are managing the land sub-division and lot development of Uniontown Rolling Hills.   Carlton Builders can provide move-in ready homes and Palouse Design Associates can help you develop the plans and design for your dream home.  We all work closely together in order to produce the highest quality community possible.
